Lisa Mojsin is one of the best accent reduction coaches out there!!! I used to have a heavy accent, and almost everyone in the Hollywood entertainment industry asked me where I was from. After having attended an acting conservatory and taking accent reduction group classes for two years, I improved a lot, but I still had traces of an accent and some industry professionals still asked me where I was from. With just FOUR one-on-one sessions with Lisa, she was able to pinpoint the exact areas that needed improvement: I practiced on my own afterwards and now I hardly ever get told that I have an accent (much, much improved!!!). I couldn’t have done it without Lisa’s specificity, attention to detail, crystal clear explanation of the American accent and, needless to say, her incredibly sweet and professional demeanor. At times she even demonstrated how I pronounced in my native tongue accent — very accurate — and how an American would sound, which helped tremendously! It takes patience and time, but it’s well worth it. Thank you, Lisa!

Lisa Mojsin is such a perfectionist. After working for nearly a decade with professional speech pathologists and various accent reduction teachers, I have found Lisa to be the most effective. I am now getting work as an actor because I no longer have an accent. She’s straight to the point and wastes no time. I have recommended her to so many people!

Nobody had ever been able to tell me what exactly was wrong with my speech until I took the Accurate English accent reduction course. There was a noticeable difference in my speech after only a few lessons. I see this course as an investment in my future. I learned how to strengthen my “Chinese tongue” to create the sounds of good American English.

Lisa is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She identified and pinpointed my problems during my first several classes. She then corrected patiently one problem at one time. I now feel more confident in speaking. Some of my friends told me that I speak English just like a native English speaker. I still have a bit of an accent, but my accent has been dramatically reduced by Lisa’s help.

I feel more confident going after the acting roles that I really want. As an actress in Hollywood, I used to get upset about people always asking me where I was from. She’s more than just a great instructor – she’s a great motivational coach!

I was invited by an American firm to lead a major project in the U.S. I began working with Ms. Mojsin a few weeks after my arrival in the U.S. The accent reduction program was exactly what I needed. I was very impressed with her linguistic talent, professionalism and experience.
Mikano Fukaya, Actress, Japan
I am so glad that I came down from Seattle to attend your intensive course. Your instructions were precise, accurate and full of revelations. I got exactly what I needed.
I cannot believe that I have lived in the U.S. for so long and didn’t take a course like this until now. I would recommend it any non-native speaker of English who is serious about moving ahead in the business world. These accent reduction courses get results.
