PERSONAL  ACCENT  EVALUATION

Who Is This Evaluation For?

This accent evaluation is ideal for people who want to learn to speak English with an American accent but cannot attend our lessons. If you live outside of the United States or in a smaller city in the US, it may be very difficult to find accent reduction training courses. 

It is also ideal for people who bought the book "Mastering the American Accent" or "The American Accent Course", both by Lisa Mojsin. They will be told exactly which chapters and sections they need to focus on the most.
 

How Will This Evaluation Help Me? 

This is the most efficient and fastest way to improve your accent without paying a personal instructor for individual lessons.  When you receive your accent evaluation report from us, you will know exactly which mistakes you are making. You can immediately focus on fixing just those specific mistakes instead of wasting time and studying all of the topics and getting confused about which sections apply to your the most.

How Does It Work?

1. We will email you the evaluation document to read and record.
   It includes two sections:
   A. a reading section consisting of sentences and paragraphs
   B. a three-minute free speech topic.  You will have a selection of several topics to talk about.
    

2. You email us an audio file of your recorded voice. 
    

3. We evaluate your speech sample and send you a detailed analysis which lists every area of weakness and strength regarding your accent. 
    

What Will My Analysis Include?

First, you accent will be rated on a scale from 1 to 10 so that you have an idea of how strong your accent is.

You will also receive a detailed report discussing all of the sounds that you are pronouncing incorrectly.  Some of these topics include:

• each of the individual fifteen vowel sounds
• all consonant sounds that you are pronouncing incorrectly
• syllable stress errors
• vowel length and reduction
• word stress
• sentence rhythm
• intonation
• linking words
• contractions
• voice quality
• rate of speech (too fast or too slow)
• exactly which sections of the book "Mastering the American Accent" you need practice.
• tips and suggestions for improvement

How Do I Get Started?

You pay us with a credit card through our PayPal account. Click on the "buy now" icon below.

  What Happens Next?

After you have made your payment, please send us an email at the link below. In the title of the email, write "accent evaluation."   In the body of the email please give us your:

a. name
b. country of origin/native language
c. any specific questions you may have about your accent.  (This is optional. Your evaluation will probably include the answers to your questions.)

We will then email you the speech test and we will give you instructions on how to send us an audio file of your voice for evaluation.   You will receive your complete speech evaluation a few days later.
